DANGEROUS GOODS PACKING SUPERVISORHeathrow AreaWe are looking for a qualified, experienced Export Packer specialising in Dangerous Goods to join our clients in a successful and well established owned organisation. This exciting opportunity will see your practical carpentry skills and Dangerous Goods specialist knowledge used to ensure a variety of freight is expertly packed, documented and correctly labelled to IATA requirements, ready for export in custom-built crates which will have been constructed to exacting specifications. To be successful in this role, you will need:Dangerous Goods Packing Qualification and ExperienceGood carpentry and woodworking skills, particularly pallet and/or casemakingExperience in the safe use of rip/band/wall/cross/cut saws, handheld power tools, hot heat/glue gunsProblem-solving skills and an eye for detailA flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to make a valuable contribution to this growing teamTo enjoy physical and varied workAbility to produce computer-generated paperworkCurrent Driving Licence desirable in order to visit other local sites and potentially customer sitesA forklift Truck certificate would be an advantageExcellent communication skills to ensure our customers’ specifications are being met and/or exceededThis is a permanent position and the hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
