Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Customs Brokerage Manager for a well established expanding Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Heathrow area.This is a newly created role and the Customs Manager will be responsible for building up department.Responsibilities:-

  • Be the person for all customs related duties
  • Build up and manage the department
  • Manage customs and compliance (make sure company is fully compliant with the requirements of HMRC)
  • Completion of all Import & Export declarations
  • Maintain customs entry documentation
  • Make sure customer needs are maintained
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting data
    • Experienced required:-
  • Fully experienced within UK / EU Customs regulations
  • Knowledge of import and export customs procedures (Air, Road and Seafreight
  • Excellent IT skills
    • Skills:-
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressurised situations
  • Commercially aware
  • Managerial skills
  • Build excellent relationships with clients and colleagues
