Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Cargo Operations Agent. The company is a well established Airline GSAs based in the Heathrow area.Duties:- Daily oversight of all our airlines from an operational perspective Cover all emails through the shift, this can be 70-80% of your workload Ensure in-house system is post-flighted and updated after flight departure to ensure smooth billing Be visual in partner GHA to oversee airline clients builds, and full utilisation of units Develop professional relationships with internal and external parties to ensure effective cargo operations Handle critical issues through liaison with station managers, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with situations Maintain effective communication with all external and internal staff/clients connected to the cargo operation, including Customer Service teams, to ensure effective operational delivery Target the reduction of cargo handling issues and their consequences Ability to make essential decisions and take responsibility To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company Ensure the accurate processing of freight documentation in accordance with all customer airlines operational procedures, Handling Briefs, and Service Level Agreements. Including special handling e.g. HUM, DGR, VUN, VAL, Radioactive Material. Keep the Supervisor of Reservations and Operations appraised of operational situation regularly. Attend meetings with Customers and Senior Management when required. Monitor Transhipment Cargo deliveries by our GHAs to onward carriers. Ensure that all carrier specific requirements are handled correctly in accordance with the appropriate procedures. To monitor GHA, security process, including x-ray processing and ETD requirements for airline product. Adopt a proactive work ethic planning ahead to anticipate and prevent handling issues.**Working hours are 4 days on days off**As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
