Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Airfreight person for well established Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.The job purpose of Airfreight Product Analyst is a nationwide covering role based at our Colnbrook branch. In line with our long term goals of growing the airfreight product exponentially in the future, the successful applicant will work within a team ofthree, supporting each of the commercial and operational teams in enhancing the sold and provided product offered.GENERIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Answers telephones, meets and greets visitors and contractors as per company policies/procedures Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines Attends and participates in internal meetings as appropriate Communicates and cooperates with internal departments as appropriate Undertakes continuous professional development (CPD) to maximise knowledge and understanding, ensuring compliance at all times with any relevant legislation. Delivers a quality customer/client service Identifies potential for new business development (where appropriate) Product reporting including generating and manipulating raw data into presentable formats. Procurement and pricing assistance for specialist and technical requests. Internal sales support with transitional and new opportunities. Assistance in maintaining current house accounts and retained business. High level procurement and supplier maintenance. General rate maintenance and distribution through internal systems. To agree jointly with the Airfreight Product and Perishable Manager a retention plan and target account platform for key accounts. To develop and maintain personal expertise in selling skills and operational systems To monitor all assigned Accounts with the customer service team to ensure low and nil spend customers are immediately identified and relevant follow up action is taken. Responding to customer enquiries professional and promptly. Liaise with all new and regular customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone. Make regular contact with all Accounts by telephone and arranging business reviews where necessary. Developing relationships with the Sales team, Customer Service team and the Air Product team to share customer knowledge and provide business support.Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730 or 0800 - 1630As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
