Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for several AOG operators for a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.Key Accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and action generic email boxes and respond in timely manner
  • Arranging collection from vendors
  • Produce shipping documentation (Hawb, Mawb)
  • Preparation of export entries in accordance with UK HMRC regulations
  • Post Flights
  • Job file invoicing
  • Ensure all queries & complaints are investigated and responded to promptly, both from external, internal customers and suppliers
  • Customer visits as requested
  • Ensure customer invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure all rates received are passed to the Team Leader for loading
Experience requirements:
  • Experience in airfreight and knowledge of air industry is essential
  • Strong Customer Service skills are essential.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to make considered and consistent decisions
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best
  • High levels of energy, sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • An open minded consultative approach
  • Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
  • Ability to creatively solve problems
  • Attention to detail
  • Minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential
  • Basic level of word and excel
