This is a Hybrid role.In this role you will be a confident and professional communicator who is able to interact with our clients and key stakeholders, with a broad understanding of IT systems, architectures as well as infrastructures, in addition you will have experience inleading projects ensuring that you are able to motivate the team around you to deliver key outcomes.If you are an experienced Head of Technical Design and Delivery and are interested in this fantastic opportunity, then please APPLY now.Key responsibilities:

You can expect to focus on improving BAU service delivery for our three main local authorities by building integral relationships with the client leads responsible for each of these local authorities.
Working alongside our Head of Applications, Development and Service Manager you will collaboratively ensure the delivery of our strategic plan and objectives and report the progress of these to our Director of IT & Digital Transformation.
You will provide support within our Senior Management team as well as to those who will report to you as a Line Manager.

Requirements:You will demonstrate proven experience within:

Architecting and delivering solutions within large scale IT projects and environments
Strong understanding, with an ability to lead design of a modern ICT estate
Programme delivery
Public andor private sectors
Leading and shaping architecture resources, capabilities and strategy
Understanding and creating commercial models and their practical application
Good understanding of managing multiple, complex client relationships
IT Governance processes

You will have a proven track record in:

The successful presentation of technical information to a non-technical audience
Applied knowledge and experience in technical solutions and security implications
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
Leadership and team management
Taking ownership and accountability for work undertaken

Salary & Benefits:

Salary - £57,904 - £64,200
