Thereare also Areas of Outstanding Beauty within the district making it a beautiful place to live and work.The RoleReporting to the Deputy s151 Officer, this role will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial advice and information to managers to help them control and manage their own finances.This is an exciting opportunity in a new role to make your own. We are currently implementing a new financial system that you will be able to help shape and develop to deliver a streamlined accountancy service.You will also support the Deputy s151 Officer in providing an efficient and effective accountancy service and to help ensure that the priorities and objectives of the Council are met. This position will take a lead role in at least one of the following fivefinancial activities, but initially Statement of Accounts production:

Treasury management & banking
Capital accounting
Maintenance of the Councils financial records and Financial Information Systems
Housing Revenue Account
Annual Statement of Accounts
