Job Description

Recruit 2 You are excited to announce our newest vacancy - Quality Control Technician. We are currently working with our client based on in Heanor! Our client manufacture and supply their components to into key market sectors.Our client is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their small and friendly well-established Quality team. The role involves undertaking consistent and repeatable testing of raw materials and manufactured products to ensure that the productsthey manufacture on site for their customers uphold their reputation for high quality.You as the new Quality Control Technician will:

  • Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and a science
  • Have some experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Have had some experience of working in a QC/laboratory/technical environment. although this is not essential
  • Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Quality Control practices
  • Be dependable, organised, and have a methodical approach to work
  • Have basic computer literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Have a logical, calm, and confident approach to working tasks
  • Have a flexible approach to work times in order to cover variable production schedules including overtime.
