Job Description

We are looking for Adult Support Workers in the Heanor of Derbyshire. Do you want a rewarding career like no other A role that gives you a feeling of satisfaction like no other. You do not need experience, just a passion for making a difference in a person’s life. This is a perfect time to be joining this organisation as they are in a really exciting period of growth. They have progression opportunities and actively promote from within. The CEO started as a Support Worker but progressed right through the ranks, so who knows, this may just be the start of your story too. They are one of the country’s leading Supported Living companies supporting adults living with Learning/Physical Disabilities and Mental Health conditions to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Supporting Someone "When I started with this company over a year ago, I started by shadowing a Support Worker called *Lyndsey who was supporting a lady called *Sophie. Sophie was living with Autism and it affected her ability to understand certain things and she sometimes displayed challenging behaviours. She would not want to go outside and would get very upset. However, Lyndsey was amazing. She never gave up on Sophie. She would encourage her, explain things to her in a way that she would understand and accompany her out to activities she loves, for example she loves football and will watch any game, both on the TV and going to watch matches. Seeing her self-esteem grow and her bubbly personality come out has been wonderful, and it let me know that I made the right choice in joining this provider and being here for the rest of my career. Best decision ever." Pay rates, hours & benefits
