Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a Haywards Heath based business in the recruitment of a Senior Financial Accountant on a 12 month FTC basis. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you will be helping to oversea the production ofmonthly management accounts and supporting with the statutory accounts and acting as a key point of contact during the audit process.Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of annual Group Stat Packs and internal compliance declarations ensuring they are completed in line with Group policies and deadlines for the specified entities
  • Delivering monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary, highlighting opportunities & threats and responsibility to presenting to internal customers
  • Line management for 3 staff including objective setting and monitoring of those objectives. Develop and motivate staff by providing them with clear direction to achieve their goals
  • Lead the team to drive improvements to establish, improve and maintain high quality and timely management accounts.
Key skills / experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong management accounting background
  • Proven people management experience (essential)
  • A desire to continuously improve processes.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Happy to be hands on
The role is being recruited on a hybrid basis with two days a week in the Haywards Heath office (based close to train station) and is paying up to £60k.
