Job Description

Reed HR havepartnered with an established financial services organisation in Horsham who are seeking an experienced HR generalist to join their team.As HR Manager, no day will be the same! You will be responsible for the full HR remit, ranging from HR administration, management, and reporting, to handling both the operational and strategic business HR requirements.   • Manage the onboarding and exit of employees, including referencing, due diligence, employee contracts, Induction process, exit interviews.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, establishing relationships with agencies, agreeing terms and contracts, writing job descriptions, interviewing and hiring new employees.
  • Manage all changes to Payroll.
  • Manage employee benefits administration including the Pension Scheme.
  • Manage effective staff and management communications, including employee and employment related matters.
  • Co-ordinate performance reviews and annual appraisal process, including probationary reviews.
  • Maintain accurate HR MI and report to the Senior Management and the Parent Company, regularly and on request.
  • Handle regulatory reporting, applications to the Regulator and annual reviews of individuals with Senior Management Functions.
  • Review and keep up-to-date HR Policies and standing operating procedures.
  • Remain up to date with current Employment and HR legislation and regulatory change.
  • Maintain HR technology, including Staff Intranet and HR SharePoint pages.
  • Assume role of Health and Safety Officer, with responsibilities including fire drills, first aiders, risk assessments, accident reporting.
  • Facilitate logistics for Board, including co-ordination and preparation of the pre-reading materials and invitations.
  • Responsibility for team of Receptionists and HR Administrator.
The successful HR Manager will have...
  • 3-5 years minimum recent Experience in the human resources sector
  • Qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) are highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Demonstrable hand-on experience of running processes such as TUPE, Disciplinary, Management Reporting, Payroll input.
  • A confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent Communicator, possessing the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and in all media types.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR Policy and regulations.
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills.
  • Proficient IT Skills in the Microsoft suite, including Office 365 and SharePoint
