Job Description

Our Professional organisation are looking for a Compliance and Investigation Officer to provide guidance and advice to its members. Most of the queries come in via their portal or via email, as opposed to phone calls.You will be involved with investigating complaints and reporting back your findings. As a professional organisation they pride themselves on prompt, efficient and professional responses.You will need to have good IT skills and excellent email writing skills in terms of grammar, spelling and professionalism.£23000 - Monday to Friday - 9-5pm. Potential to work from home 3 days a week, with 2 days in the office in Haywards Heath. Outstanding Company Benefits including 7% company pension contribution - Parking also available.

  • To manage complaints received against members in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • To provide guidance and advice to members on how to avoid complaints and maintain compliance with the various Codes and Accreditations.
  • To virtually examine facilities managed by our members to ensure compliance with the Code of Practice using various checklists and our case management system.
  • To respond to enquiries and complaints about members from members of the public either via our case management system, email or letter.
  • In the fullness of time, there is an expectation that the post holder handles investigations into alleged non-compliance with the Code of Practice by our members in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • To participate in the continuing professional development of the various Codes and Accreditations through regular meetings and training to ensure understanding of the procedures and processes required.
  • To work on specific projects as delegated.
