Classroom Support AssistantClassroom Support Assistant - Haywards Heath - ASAPPosition Overview:As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a conducive and productive learning environment within a school. You will work closely with educators and students to ensure the smooth functioning of the classroom, providing essentialsupport and assistance to both teaching staff and pupils.Main Responsibilities of a Classroom Support Assistant:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional help.
  • Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Monitor student behavior and address disciplinary issues according to school policies.
  • Assist in grading assignments and maintaining student records.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to adapt lessons and support strategies as required.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements to become a Classroom Support Assistant:
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
  • You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
  • You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
