Tenancy Sustainment Officers£21,408 - £23,478 per annum, plus £1,000 per year essential car users allowance Fixed term posts until 31 March 2021Eastbourne and HastingsDue to a successful bid we are able to increase staffing for the Rapid Rehousing Pathway project until 31 March 2021. In particular we are looking for Tenancy Sustainment Officers to join our teams in Eastbourne and Hastings.You will join a supportive and professional team to deliver a responsive short-term housing support service to a wide range of people.The Rapid Rehousing Pathway supports rough sleepers, former rough sleepers and people at high risk of rough sleeping across East Sussex to find new accommodation in both the private and social rented sectors.Tenancy sustainment support is then provided to prevent these individuals from returning to rough sleeping in the future. Achieved through working closely with partners across the statutory and voluntary sector to ensure each individuals support needs are identified and addressed promptly.Other key activities include linking clients into services, support with attending appointments, pursuing assessments, following up housing allocations and proactive work to consistently engage clients.This post requires you to be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.Previous applicants from within the last three months need not apply.Closing date: Monday 16 November 2020.Interview date: Friday 20 November 2020.An Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity will be required for successful applicants - Southdown pay the cost.Southdown is a not-for-profit organisation that actively promotes diversity & equality of opportunity.
