Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant HASTINGSAre you passionate about education and dedicated to supporting students learning journeys We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Learning support Assistants in the Copthorne area. As a Learning Support Assistant, you willplay a vital role in assisting teachers in the classroom, providing support to students with additional needs, and contributing to their overall academic and personal development.Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Assist with classroom management and maintaining discipline.
Support individual students or small groups with their academic tasks.
Help in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Provide feedback to teachers regarding students progress and behaviour.
Assist in implementing strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and on field trips.
Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Requirements of a Learning Support Assistant:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Patience and the ability to work well with students of different ages and abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to varying classroom situations.
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
Pass compliance checks and obtain an enhanced DBS check
