Job Description

Job Title: HeadteacherLocation: HastingsSalary: Leadership Scale depending on experience - £52,659 to £71,765 per yearHours: Full timeWe are currently seeking a passionate leader to join as Headteacher of a specialist school supporting students with SEMH needs based in Hastings.The role:A strong leader, you will combine kindness, nurture and integrity with academic excellence, fantastic outcomes and whilst fulfilling statutory obligations. Moving to its permanent site in Spring 2023, the school will support up to 72 pupils aged between7-16 with SEMH and associated complex needs.Experience /Qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding of how to develop a robust curriculum
  • Evidence of a strong knowledge of the current major curriculum issues, legislative changes and their significance for the management and leadership of a school
  • Excellent understanding of how Track record of assessing, monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching standards and the delivery of a vibrant curriculum
  • Ability to deliver and embed the academys vision, values and aspirations for its entire community.
Ideally you will have existing experience as a Headteacher however we will also consider strong Deputy Headteachers looking for the next step in their career. You will hold a Teaching Qualification and QTS and an NPQH is desirable.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in improving outcomes.Please note - interviews for this role will be held on 8th and 10th March 2023 All dayBenefits:
