They are three special schools, a large countywide alternativeprovision and a vocational free school. They strive to discover success through learning, self-belief and achievement. Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.This Central has two sites across East Sussex, Eastbourne and Hastings, and provides specialised education to young people with who have been, or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school, with average class sizes of 8-10. They strive to discover successthrough learning, self-belief and achievement. Pupils are empowered to take responsibility through a personalised curriculum supported by secure systems.We are supporting this college to recruit an experienced practitioner of general subjects, preferably with a focus in core subjects of English and/or Maths, starting as soon as possible. The school applications from all specialisms, with the ability to adaptto teach a range of other subjects in a specialised setting. This position is primarily based at the Hastings site, but the successful candidate may be expected to work at their Eastbourne site, as and when required.The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ensuring all pupils make progress and succeed. You will be an effective and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about your subjects, highly organised and has the ability to motivate and engagelearners.
