Cardiac Physiologist - Full Time - 37.5 HoursWe are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and forward thinking organisation. You must be committed to continually improving your professional skills and those of the department to benefit the patients we serve.The Cardiac Physiology Service at South Tyneside and Sunderland offers a comprehensive range of both non-invasive and invasive diagnostic investigations including ECG, Ambulatory Monitoring and Exercise Testing (Physiologist led).We perform between 13,000-16,000 echocardiograms per year, currently providing both transthoracic and transoesphageal echocardiography for outpatients and the acute inpatient demand. We have Physiologist led valve clinics, 3D and contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.We also have a 24/7 PPCI on-call service and 3 Cardiac Cath Labs cross site performing diagnostic angiography and PCI, with complex adjunctive procedures (shockwave, rotablation, IVUS and OCT) and a thriving CTO programme.Our CRM service continues to expand with brady and CRT-P device implantation and Physiologist led ILR implants. The CRM team also host Physiologist led brady and high voltage follow up clinics, including the use of home monitoring.
