Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Consultant Interventional Radiologist who shares our vision and wishes to join us on our exciting journey. On 1st January 2016, our multi-disciplinary Integrated Vascular Service model was launched by founding the integrated West London Vascular and Interventional Centre (WeLVIC) under the leadership of Professor Martin Malina. Both Interventional Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists are employed at WeLVIC and a close integration between the two groups is underpinned by the design of our service model, which is soon to be reconfigured and improve our sector wide working.Our service is a specialist hub and spoke networked service providing diagnosis, medical interventional and surgical treatment of vascular disease at 6 hospital sites. Our team is made up of experienced Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Vascular Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Scientists, Specialists and Allied Healthcare professionals from Northwick Park Hospital, St Mark’s Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital, Ealing Hospital, Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.Our model of care is that Vascular Specialists with roots in Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology and Angiology work together in an integrated way and are trained to be able to treat the vast majority of patients independently, yet encouraged to sub-specialise for rare and demanding conditions.
