Are you a passionate and dynamic educator who believes in the power of physical education to empower young mindsAre you committed to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among studentsRole: Female PE TeacherStart Date: SeptemberLocation: Birmingham B36Salary: 120-150 GBP/DayDuration: Full Time- Long TermReed Education are working with a Secondary school in Wrexham and are currently recruiting for a Female PE Teacher on a full-time basis to teach PE to key stage 3 and 4.We are looking to hear from PE Teachers who have a passion for PE and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for students. You will form positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider community. You will have a passion forsports and will work to instill a love for sports to young people, to students who are reluctant to partake in sports.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes active and healthy lifestyles.
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Teach fundamental movement skills, sports techniques, and strategies to enhance students physical development and teamwork.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to participate and achieve their personal best.
Assess and monitor students progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their growth.
Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, including sports teams, tournaments, and fitness programs.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Stay updated with the latest trends, research, and best practices in physical education and incorporate them into instructional strategies.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective partnership and support students overall development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in physical education, Sports Science, or a related field. A higher degree is advantageous.
Teaching certification or licensure in Physical Education.
Prior experience teaching physical education to students at the desired grade level (elementary, middle, or high school).
Strong knowledge of physical education principles, fitness training, and various sports and activities.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Passion for physical fitness, health, and promoting an active lifestyle among students.
Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into physical education lessons.
Valid CPR and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
