Job Description

Summary We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages at (Location)Hours:As relief you would be on hand to cover other housekeepers holidays etc, so flexibility is essential as bookings can be taken any day Monday to Saturday. The changeover time will vary depending on which cottage you cover so couldbe from 4 hours to 5.5 hours per changeover. The guests depart at 10am and arrive at 4pm, so work will be between these hours. As relief there are no guaranteed hours, which is why this is a zero hour fixed term contract. As the holiday cottages are open allyear round, work is ongoing, so we would keep extending the contact as work is available.Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.Salary: £9.60per hourDuration: Fixed Term until 31 August 2023Internally you will be known as Holidays Operation Assistant What its like to work here To find out more about what its like to work within Holidays at the National Trust, clickhere to watch our video. What youll be doing On change-over days, youll make sure that everythings clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. Wed also like you to keep an eye out and reportany repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.Please also read the full role profile, attached to this advert.
