Estimator - Construction and Mechanical/ElectricalSolihull, BirminghamSalary negotiable based on experience We are seeking an experienced estimator with a background in construction and mechanical/electrical projects to join our client. As an estimator, you will be responsible for analysing project specifications and drawings, preparing cost estimates and proposals,and providing support throughout the bidding process.Responsibilities:- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for construction and mechanical/electrical projects- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate and competitive bids- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals- Provide support throughout the bidding process, including attending pre-bid meetings and site visits- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates and proposalsRequirements:- Bachelors degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating- Strong knowledge of construction and mechanical/electrical engineering principles and practices- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating softwareIf you are a motivated and experienced estimator with a passion for construction and mechanical/electrical engineering, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity or email Danny.
