Job Description

Apply now and start your future here!The IT Helpdesk Team provide advice and support on issues arising within the company’s systems. You will be the first point of contact responsible for answering, resolving, and documenting all requests from users. As such you must be approachable, enthusiastic,organised, and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills within a customer facing environment.Responsibilities:

  • Providing a timely, friendly, reliable service to all IT users within the company by phone, email, face to face and remotely
  • Logging, monitoring and dispatching helpdesk requests ensuring that requests are effectively captured and allocated the appropriate priority levels
  • Taking ownership of support requests and managing them effectively through to completion
  • Undertaking first line support for IT users by phone, email, face to face and remotely
  • Investigating reported issues in detail, gaining evidence and escalating internally when necessary to meet SLA’s
  • Communicating with IT users of all levels about their reported issues and requests and any known service issues by phone, email, face to face and remotely ensuring that users are kept up to date with the progress of their support requests at all times
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring and maintaining systems and printers
  • Website troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Hardware deployment, installation and maintenance
  • Software deployment and upgrades
  • Carrying out routine housekeeping and proactive checks on IT systems
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of IT projects
  • Being responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, security and tracking of all Daysoft IT Assets (hardware, software and licencing)

  • Applicants must have at least 3 NAT 5’s or equivalent, including Maths, English and IT / Computer related subject
Salary: £21,897 per annumHours of work:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm. Some out of hours work may be required.Benefits:
