Job Description

Part Time in our Hamilton Contact CentreStarting Salary: £22,000 per annum based on a 35 hour working week, pro rata if part timefirst direct is a modern fast paced customer service environment, change is a way of life and youll be in the thick of it helping first direct to drive forward its ambition to really challenge the challengers. On a day to day basis youll be speaking toour customers to help them navigate in this new world, its not for the faint hearted. We want everyone to bring their true selves to first direct!Shift Patterns:Because we are always there for our customers, we have a number of different working patterns to fit around you and your life.Our operating window is 24 hours 365 days a year. Over the 7 day week, start times within this role can be as early as 06:00 and finish times can be up to 01:00. Dont worry, youd never be asked to work from 06:30 to 01:00 as the maximum shift length is9 hours with at least an 11 hour gap between shifts.Shifts can vary in nature but usually youll be working at least either a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday with the possibility of other late finishes. Once you have applied we will send you specific shift patterns to choose from which we will confirm withyou at interviewWe offer 4 or 5 day weeks (full time) as well as part time shifts. Please be advised that training would need to be undertaken on a full time basis for the first 5 weeks and you will be fully paid during this period if you are part time.We offer a mix of office and home working, with all of our people spending some of their time in the office periodically to meet the wider first direct team and sample the culture that makes first direct so unique.Training will be a mix of office and home based, this will give you the opportunity to meet other new starters and be fully supported from day one to taking your first customer call.To reduce our impact on the environment and to provide a link from town to our site, first direct and Arriva have joined together to offer free use of buses traveling between Leeds City Centre and first direct.You can travel to and from first direct using the 444, 446 and the 110. These services operate 7 days a week between 05.30am - 11pm, where up to 15 buses an hour are operating between Leeds City Centre and first direct.
