Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive within a leading independent provider of business to business finance in Bristol.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Relationship Management Team and external Client’s, ensuring high service levels are maintained, whilst demanding an excellent eye for detail to minimise risk and loss to the business.Key responsibilities:

Item Verification - collating, monitoring and understanding information that should be received from clients to ensure it adheres to facility conditions and is received in a timely manner.
Assisting clients with the running and understanding of their facility to ensure they receive maximum funding whilst working within the covenants of their agreement.
Regular review of debtor credit limits ensuring maximum funding is available or funding restricted if a deterioration highlighted
Ongoing monitoring and review of the customer base of your clients to ensure trading styles, addresses and contact details are kept up to date
Debtor Protection - monitoring policies to ensure adequate limits are in place, monthly reporting is completed within expected timeframes and monthly limit fees are processed.
Performing a professional credit control and debt verification service to ensure the prompt recoverability of debt and high level of service.
Ensuring a risk focused approach to the management of your portfolio of clients - approving debts for funding once risk measures have been met, escalating concerns to the Relationship Manager, disputing debts where concerns are noted.
KPIs - meeting all set KPIs

Key Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise directly with colleagues and business owners/key personnel at all levels.
An excellent representative - you will be an ambassador, work in a professional manner and have a high level of written communication skills.
An ability to balance customer service alongside a focus on protecting the risk faced when providing funding.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic accounting terminology

The successful candidate will be calm but assertive, inquisitive and tenacious and must be a team player. They will also have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy. A background in Invoice Finance is desired but not essential.
