Job Description

Contract Type:PermanentSalary:Earning circa £36,000Job Elements

  • Shifts - Monday - Friday (6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm) and a call out rota once trained
  • Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team, working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives within a heavy engineering environment.
  • Setting priorities from shift production teams’ guidance.
  • Breakdown maintenance.
  • Significant involvement in project, development and installation work.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
    • The ideal candidate will have: -
  • Timed served apprentice
  • Minimum ONC, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with maintaining production equipment ideally within a heavy industrial environment, preferably metals or chemicals.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with mobile plant
  • PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
  • Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, level control, Loop Control)
  • Inverter drive control
  • Gas Burner Control Systems
  • 3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
  • General fault finding & diagnostics skills
