Job Description

Corporate Tax ManagerLancashire Full-Time Hours / Permanent - Flexible WorkingWe have a new opportunity available for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our client who have businesses worldwide, this role sits at their state of the art office. This is the perfect opportunity a Tax professional to join us and embark on anew and exciting journey to revolutionise the convenience market. You will also support in navigating the future Tax framework and structure for the newly acquired business.About the Role…Working in collaboration with our clients award-winning UK Tax Team and Head of Indirect Tax, you will have the opportunity collaborate with and gain exposure across the whole food & retail environment helping to build an understanding of the changing taxlegislation in order to impact, influence and inform decision making.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of corporation tax computations, tax disclosures for statutory accounts, quarterly forecasting
  • Manage correspondence and compliance with HMRC
  • Participate in numerous large advisory projects including the structuring of new developments, tax financing, capital allowance projects, transfer pricing, and employment related securities
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams to provide details on accounting processes and transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly/ quarterly/year end tax disclosures in IFRS
  • Drafting initial year end tax provision calculations
  • Working closely with the UK finance team to assist on the UK tax opportunities such as capital allowance reviews and RDEC claims
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in corporate tax, with significant experience in successfully delivering tax compliance for a large, complex business
  • ACA and/or CTA qualified or part qualified
  • UK Tax technical knowledge
  • Advanced analytical, excel, systems and reporting skills
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated and results focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to explain complex issues
  • Excellent relationship building skills paired with commercial awareness
