Staff365 are on look out for a number of Furniture Asssembly operatives for our client based in Barnsley.We have immediate starts available and a variety of different shifts to choose from.Fixed Day Shift 1 - Monday to Thursday 07:00am - 15:30pm & Friday 07:00am - 14:30pmFixed Day shift 2 - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16.30pm & Friday 08:00am - 15:30pmFixed Afters shift - Monday to Thursday 16:00 - 00:00 and & Friday 15:00pm - 22:00pmTotal: 39 hours per week paid weeklyPay Rates: £10.50 - £12.50 per hour depending on which shift you choose for the first 12 weeks then increases.Contract: Temporary to PermanentLocation: Barnsley, S72Duties:Assembling cabinetsWorking on assembly / production linesQuality checking of materials and finished productsPacking and taping itemsWorking with woodFollowing instructionsGeneral HousekeepingWorking on your own and as part of a teamMinimum daily requirements (production targets)Criteria:Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essentialHard working, reliable and punctualExperience of operating and using hand toolsExperience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsGood work ethic and prepared to learn new skillsPlease note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties.Staff 365 are an employment business and equal opportunities employer.
