Job Description

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative working on a rotating shift pattern - days, nights and afters for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.Warehouse Operative Details:

Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72
Rotating shifts - days 6am to 2pm, nights 10pm to 6am and afters 2pm to 10pm
Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
Start date: Monday 8th April 2024 starting on afters 2pm to 10pm
Pay Rates: days and afters £14.64 & nights £15.57 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Warehouse Operative Duties:

Picking panels ready to be assembled
Loading and unloading trolleys with wooden panels and spares
Quality checking of materials being picked
Loading assembly lines with parts and components
Using hand scanners
Working with wood
Following instructions
Working on your own and as part of a team
Minimum daily requirements (picking targets)

Warehouse Operative Criteria:

Previous picking experience - Advantageous but not essential
Hard working, reliable and punctual
Experience of operating hand scanners ideal but no essential
Experience in warehousing
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
