We aim to drive a competitive advantage for our clients and the group by creating confidence in our data and enabling impactful insights to improve the client experience.About the RoleYou’ll be joining an existing team of developers that work in a fast agile environment. Working with the Business Performance team and colleagues from the front line network to understand how we use data to drive performance discussions and decisions, andultimately positively impact customer outcomes.We have designed and developed our suite of reports, which makes data readily available through automated solutions. That reporting is handled by SSRS reports and is accessed by users via an application we have developed called the MI Hub. Were lookingto expand this capability onto Power BI to help with analytics and data driven decisions.What are we looking forHaving experience within a Commercial Banking environment with an understanding of financial services products would be preferred. More importantly, youre a dedicated developer, with a passion for making data work for colleagues.In this role youll demonstrate;

  • Ability to work as part of a development team with responsibility for the end to end development of new and enhanced data feeds, data processes, data layers and reporting (essential)
  • A comprehensive experience of SQL Server and in particular developing and supporting SSIS and T-SQL (essential)
  • Knowledge of BI reporting toolset e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects (essential)
  • Ability to deliver at pace in an agile development environment
  • Proactively engage, build and maintain relationships inside and outside the team. You can communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Innovation to enhance architecture and processes.
