In the CDAO, were need individuals who have a deep understanding of the financial business, cloud technologyand with a strategic approach to help fulfil our visions and support this journey.Part of the broader Data Management office, provide the capabilities for federated data offices to handle and control their data in a well-governed and consistent manner. We offer capabilities to model data, curate reusable data assets, capture lineage andmetadata, store and distribute reference data, and control frameworks and tooling to identify and remediate data issues.What youll be doing...As a Product Manager in Data Management Solutions, youll set the vision for, and lead a team of product managers to deliver, data capabilities. You will:

  • Be the voice of the customer, representing the divisional data offices needs.
  • Tell the product story and articulate technical concepts, rationale, and return on investment.
  • Define the vision, strategy, and success criteria for group-wide objectives
  • Be accountable for the success of the product evolution.
  • Define functional and business goals, collaborating with technical and functional product owners to transform into OKRs.
  • Work with divisions to identify problem statements and drive creative and reusable solutions which satisfy users needs
  • Gain partners investment in product roadmap
  • Lead creation of functional design, requirements, and prototypes delivering tangible customer value
  • Partner with technology counterparts to transform functional designs into technical designs and execution plans
  • Keep up to date with technologies to modernize the data management space
  • Own and prioritise the product feature roadmap for iterative delivery of value
  • Lead creation of standard suite of marketing materials for a broad set of audiences from team members to senior management and executives
  • Contribute to operating model and RASCI design and implementation
Were looking for someone with...
  • A strong, customer-centric vision, who is not afraid to challenge established processes
  • Strong leadership skills, who can set the vision clearly enough that they can delegate decision-making and empower individual product owners
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and canonical data models
  • Understanding of data structures, taxonomies, ontologies, entity-relationships, etc. at a conceptual or logical level
  • Ability to mentor and coach colleagues to maximise their potential
  • Ability to establish trusting working relationships with senior stakeholders and address an executive audience
  • Experience with rolling out data capabilities across federated organisational structures
Ideally, youll have...
  • A background in financial services/ banking data, or technology
  • Experience product-managing data content or data management capabilities
  • Good understanding of agile and scrum frameworks
  • Solid grasp of data management practices in Cloud and traditional architectures
  • Experience in working with industry-recognised data models (e.g., BIAN, FIBO, FSLDM etc.)
  • Understanding of retail and commercial banking products, and how customers interact with them
