Project Managers - Medical Devices/FMCGGAMA Healthcare is a dynamic, innovative company at the forefront of infection prevention technology. We specialise in the manufacture and distribution of revolutionary IPC products and the provision of exceptional aftercare support.Our new ambitious Science & Innovation Director is already strengthening a world class framework and environment within our brand new, multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art research & product development facility in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Where we are able to design, develop and launch a growing range of medical products, devices and equipment to the UK & international markets - creating a Centre of Excellence (COE) and a leading In-house product research, design, development and production environment.The Project Managers will provide project management expertise, with a clear focus on the pipeline drive for Product Development projects. The Project Managers will enable on-time delivery of key projects across innovation, development and product optimisation pipelines to drive GAMAs growth targets and new product launches.What will you do

Provide a clear focus on the project management, planning and pipeline drive of products across all Gates (Exploratory to Launch) for GAMA Healthcare projects

The role will ensure quality pipeline progression and On-Time Delivery (OTD) of key projects for launch which will meet the strategic growth plan for the company across Surface and Skin Disinfection and potentially also Wound Disinfection sub-categories

Define Gantt charts and key milestones for Product Development Projects and work with Product Development Scientific Team to deliver each project through to launch on time

Lead agenda and chair project meetings for Product Development projects

Escalate issues appropriately to Project Management Team Leader

Ensure that key milestones and portfolio reviews for all key projects are in place

What will you need

A strong microbiology, chemistry, chemical engineering or life sciences degree qualification is preferred

An industry recognised Project Management qualification or certification is desirable

Strong, demonstrable cross functional project management experience, within a relevant sector such as FMCG, Medical devices or Biocides

Proven ability to manage a project portfolio at all stages through a project team; plan complex multifunctional projects, flag critical issues & align key stakeholders to decisions/recommendations

Ability to understand complex scientific programmes within chemistry, microbiology and/or regulated environments such as medical devices

An open and collaborative style and drive to deliver pipeline projects
