Where we are able to design, develop and launch a growing range of medical products, devices and equipment to the UK & international markets - creating a Centre of Excellence (COE) and a leading In-house product research, design, development and production environment.The Project Manager - Capital Equipment will provide professional project management expertise in planning and driving development of Capital Equipment projects for the GAMA Science and Innovation Team. Capital Equipment is a critical new sub-category for GAMA Healthcare. The Project Manager will enable on-time delivery of key projects across this important new sub-category and support innovation and product pipelines to drive GAMAs growth targets.What will you do

Provide a clear focus on the project management, planning and pipeline drive of capital equipment projects across Gates 1 & 2 of pipeline

The role will ensure quality pipeline progression and On-Time Delivery (OTD) of all capital equipment projects for launch

Define GANTT charts and key milestones for Capital Equipment Projects and work with Product Development Scientific Team to deliver each project through to launch on time

Lead agenda and chair project meetings for Capital Equipment Projects

Escalate issues appropriately to Project Management Team Leader

Ensure that key milestones and portfolio reviews for all key projects are in place

What will you need

An industry recognised Project Management qualification or certification is desirable

Prior experience in developing and/or project managing Capital Equipment Projects within a medical device company is key

Strong, demonstrable cross functional project management experience, within a relevant sector such as FMCG, Medical Devices or science environment

Proven ability to manage a project portfolio at all stages through a project team; plan complex multifunctional projects, flag critical issues & align key stakeholders to decisions/recommendations

Collaborative working style; close working with colleagues based in China will be key for this role

Experience with project management systems e.g. MS Project is essential
