The Technology Lead FRTB Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between the Business and technologists to understand the FRTB requirements and translate and coordinate with the Technology team into a working solution. An understanding of the FRTB regulation with experience on the application is a key requirement. Appreciation of the data challenges and how to solutionise will be a great benefit to the role. Inquisitive self starter to lead on defining solutions for FRTB and market risk regulation. Responsibilities: In depth understanding of the FRTB regulation to be able to work closely with the business and IT to translate the requirementsWork with Risk IT and Quant teams to refine and improve the data input into FRTB IMA calculationsUnderstanding of Front Office libraries and associated data elements and ability to improve regulatory data standardsAppreciation of market risk processes and controls, when designing F2B processes and data flowsAnalyse datasets and input into the design and processes for the RFET model for FRTB IMAStrong understanding of population challenges and solutions to monitor and remediateExperience of working under an Agile approach and responsible for setting up Jira structure to monitor and track remediation itemsLead on the documentation for the projects, such as internal reporting, functional specs and challenge and review business requirements documentsContribute to the strategies/processes for Product Road map and governance for deliveryTeam is growing therefore avid interest on the growth of the team and own leadership skillsDevelop communication to guide, influence and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering toPolicy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
