Job Description

Our client, a consumer-facing, high-growth private equity backed business, is seeking to appoint a Head of FP&A to join their dynamic finance team. As part of the Finance Leadership Team, this role is crucial in coordinating analysis and insight, accounting,process improvement, integration, and strategic development.Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading financial and commercial analysis and insight
  • Challenging business assumptions and performance with rigour
  • Enhancement of business-wide partnering facility
  • Developing productive and strong working relationships across all functions
  • Robustly evaluating all business projects and initiatives in both a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Oversight of the business planning cycle including the annual budgeting activity and reforecasting
  • Developing both functional and individual capabilities to build a fit for purpose FP&A Team
  • Managing the financial risk and opportunities within the risk appetite of the business
  • Leading M&A strategic financial validation, internalising DD workstreams and leading on post completion reporting and integration plan alignment
The successful candidate will be a key player in establishing a new FP&A function and will challenge and facilitate both the commercial/operational agenda and strategic direction of the business. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical to successin this role.
