Job Description

SUMMARY

  • 12 month contract opportunity for a VMware Engineer
  • OutsideIR35
  • Must hold valid SC Clearance
  • VMware Horizon View and vCenter Engineer
    • COMPANYDefence Enterprise Solutions are specialists in providing on premise infrastructure and cloud computing capabilities to UK defence companies. DES have helped to design, develop and deliver on some of the UKs biggest defence projects for clients such as Airbus and BAE Systems.OPPORTUNITYDES are now looking for a VMware Horizon View and vCenter engineer to join their team and work on an exciting private cloud computing project with their client based in greater London. There will be an equal mix of remote and onsite work.The ideal candidate will hold VMware certifications in one or more of the following:
  • VMware Certified Professional - Datacentre Virtualisation
  • VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Mobility
    • Extensive hands on experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi and Horizon View are essential to the role. Additional experience with custom powershell scripts, Active Directory administration, NVIDIA GRID vGPU, and remote display protocols such as PCoIP are highly advantageous.This is a chance to join a new and exiting company providing consultancy services to the UK Defence industry.
