Job Description

Senior Support Worker vacancy waiting to be filledVenn Group would like to introduce the following Senior Support Worker positions available in LongsightPosition: Senior Support Worker Location: Manchester – Longsight Rate: £16.21 (Umbrella Rate) p/hourHours: 37.5 hours p/week (Mon – Fri) Length: 12 weeks The role will predominantly involve:

  • Working with male customers from a homeless background with complex needs
  • Rehousing customers within the Manchester area and have a good understanding of social landlords and the private rented Housing sector
  • Supporting other support workers with difficult challenging customers, as well as carrying their own case load
  • Completing comprehensive Risk assessments and support plans
  • Working in a psychological informed environment
    • The successful candidate must have excellent communications and IT skills, the candidate also needs to have knowledge of homelessness and have experience of working with customers with complex needs.
