Job Description

Finance Manager | Legal Sector Radcliffe | Greater ManchesterSalary up to £65,000CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the legal sector. Our client is a successful firm based near Radcliffe, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a prominent firm specialising in legal services. You’llbe overseeing a small finance team and managing all finance related aspects of the business.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment regulations and processing deductions.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts from Trial Balance onward, handling accruals, reconciliations, and payroll journals.
  • Oversee purchase ledger processes, including creditor accounts setup and invoice input, ensuring timely supplier payments.
  • Generate, reconcile, and distribute monthly performance reports to key stakeholders.
  • Execute quarterly VAT returns for two businesses and collaborate on annual budget creation.
Skills Required
  • A strong background in a finance management role in the Legal Sector
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and management accounts preparation.
  • Proficiency in purchase ledger procedures and VAT return submissions.
  • Prior involvement in budgeting and financial reporting.
