Job Description

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - NORTH MANCHESTEROFFICE BASED - £25,000 - £30,000A highly successful and very well-established textiles group with sites across the North of England are looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to support the Group CEO, Directors and Senior Management team within their head office in North Manchester.THE JOB:Supporting the Group CEO on and off site, both in the UK and overseas, you will become a critical support and confidant to the Group CEO, Directors and the Senior Management team.Based on site Monday-Friday, your responsibilities will include:

  • Extensive diary coordination including booking and scheduling meetings using Outlook
  • Meeting minute taking and the reporting and updating of actions
  • Group CEO email management, dealing with and handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Group CEO mileage and expenses
  • Group HR Manager and HR site support
  • Production of contracts, offer letters, submission of monthly salary payroll detail
  • Manage site time and attendance and reporting absence
  • Support HR with KPI reporting
  • Group HR project support including newsletters, handbook and placing job adverts
  • Note taking at meetings, investigations and disciplinaries
  • Travel Management - booking national and international travel, flights, hotels and booking training venues
  • Meeting room preparation, refreshments and booking catering
  • Supporting with the booking of company and hospitality events
  • Group Fleet Management including vehicle taxing, servicing, reporting breakdowns and maintaining the vehicle records and associated administration
  • Reporting IT faults to outsourced support
  • The procurement of goods and services, business cards, and IT consumables
THE PERSON:The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will need to be a pro-active self-starter with an ambitious and energetic nature. Exceedingly good communication skills and the ability to form strong working relationships both internallyand externally is essential. Outstanding organisation skills and the ability to plan and prioritise are essential along with the ability to meet and deliver on deadlines. As well as having the ability to analyse and problem solve you will require excellentattention to detail.
