Title: SEN Nanny Location: Stratford, E20Nearest Tube/Station: StratfordWage/Salary: Up to £40,000.00 gross per annum depending on experience Driver Essential NoEssential: Hands on experience working with children in early years, autism experience, and 2+ years working as a Nanny. Family/Client Pets : CockapooRecruiter: Kamila,About this client: Maya (3) is an adorable and sweet little girl who enjoys going to cafs to eat cake, reading Julia Donaldson books, playing with her puppy, making jokes and making people laugh. She loves watching movies, especially Frozen, lots of sensory activities, trampolining,and running in the park. Maya has been diagnosed with Autism and has sensory processing issues. A routine is very important for Maya and any unexpected situations and activities can trigger anxiety and behaviour that may challenge. Maya can be very chatty;her speech is constantly improving, she also responds well to Makaton and visual aids.Overview of role:As Mayas SEN Nanny, youll be responsible for all daily nanny duties, meal preparation, school pick up, light household duties related to Maya and family laundry, resourcing and organising age-appropriate and stimulating activities for Maya - and of coursehaving lots of fun.! Maya attends a small specialist school which she really enjoys and is already making lot of progress. Both parents are working from their offices in the family home and can assist if necessary, but you will generally have sole charge ofMaya. Term-time: 12.30pm to 7.30pm, School holidays 8.30am to 7.30pm. From £37,740.00 to £40,000.00 gross per annum, depending on experience.Who this job would suit:This job will suit a warm, patient and resourceful SEN *female Nanny with a fair, consistent and kind approach. Youll have at least 2 years of experience looking after children of similar age group and a great understanding of autism.
