Job Description

Welder Fabricator

Salary: Up to £36,500 per annum (equivalent to £18.00 per hour)
Time and a Half Overtime Rate, up to £27.00 per hour. (Good hours available)
Start: Immediate start available - Permanent position.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a 12:00 mid-day finish on Fridays.
Location: Cambourne - Sandy - Huntingdon area. Own transport is necessary due to the rural location (No public transport).

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator skilled in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel experience. This role involves fabricating and welding stainless steel components to meet industry standards.Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.
Read Engineering drawings and blueprints.
Utilise hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components.
Conduct quality inspections.
Maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

Proven TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
MIG welding.
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
Proficiency in welding equipment operation.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Hours:

39 hours per week.
Monday to Friday (Early finish on Fridays).
Start time: 7:30 am.
Finish times: Monday 4:00 pm, Tuesday 4:30 pm, Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 pm, and Friday 12:00 mid-day.
