Job Description

We are working with an excellent company who are look for an Electrical Design Engineer to join there growing team.Our client is a leader in the world of Food Processing equipment, and any experience within a manufacturing environment would be a great advantage.This is an office based role, not remote, so please only apply if you live in a commutable distance, or are willing to relocate.Typical duties include:

Generation of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams using Eplan Pro Panel. (Experience in Eplan Desirable but not essential)
Specification and sourcing of components, consumables and other hardware in conjunction with purchasing and software department to meet requirements and project cost targets.
PLC/HMI selection in conjunction with the Software department.
Support Spares/Service department with sourcing of parts for customers and technical queries.
Advise on technical matters arising from sales enquiries.
Provide technical support and advice on matters concerning product quality, test, inspection and application, including the review and provision of relevant documentation where required.
Working alongside the Mechanical Design department to package the control system within the machine envelope.

The ideal candidate will have:

Time proven practical electrical wiring experience. mechanical experience would also be beneficial.
Previous electrical CAD experience specifically with Eplan Pro Panel (Eplan not essential).
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Is Qualified to HNC/HND standard or above preferably in an electrical engineering related subject.
