Senior Project Engineer/ManagerBedfordshire£45k-£55k (dep on exp) + bonus and benefitsWe are currently looking for a technically minded Senior Project Engineer / Manager to join a well-established and successful market leading company based in Bedfordshire that is working on the development of innovative special purpose equipment within a lowvolume manufacturing environment.The business is expanding so the Senior Project Engineer/Manager will join the Projects Team reporting to the Senior Project Manager on site. The Senior Project Engineer will take responsibility for contracts from the receipt of order and handover from theSales team through to successful install and handover. Thus, you will get the opportunity to work closely with the clients and foster excellent relationships whilst ensuring all staff are aware of the project requirements and timescales.This role would be suited to a and experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager with a strong technical background but also the commercial awareness to be the go-to contact for the client throughout the entire project life-cycle. Having a backgroundwithin food processes would be a distinct advantage, however someone with experience working within special purpose machinery systems would definitely be valuable!This is truly an excellent opportunity to join this fantastic company that offers a full design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of turnkey solutions to both independent manufacturers and household brands!The Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager will have the following skills/experience:* Recent and relevant experience in a similar role working within a special purpose machinery/manufacturing.* Strong commercial awareness and client contact* Excellent knowledge of full project life-cycle.* An understanding of the relevant aspects of Health and Safety legislation that apply to industrial machinery equipment and installations.* Ability to use AutoCAD would be beneficial.* Knowledgeable in hydraulics, pneumatics, steam services and fluid mechanics along with a basic understanding of electrical control systems would be advantageous.* UK Driving Licence required.Interested or know someone who might beIf so, get in contact with Darren Holmes @ Vector Recruitment Ltd on or
