Job Description

CNC Turner

  • £34,476 per annum / Rate to £17.00 per hour, overtime to £25.50 per hour (Time & a Half)
  • Permanent position - Immediate Start
  • Excellent Earning Potential
  • Location: Cambourne - Gamlingay - St. Neots area - Own transport required due to location
CNC Turner, with experience of setting and operating Doosan 3-axis lathes; is required for this long established engineering manufacturing Company, working a day shift starting at 07.30am and an early mid-day finish on Fridays.The company has just purchased two new Doosan lathes, so candidates with experience of Doosan lathes is beneficial.You will use your experience to make, prove and adjust Fanuc, Haas programs, set up the CNC lathes and then ensure efficient and accurate production of a range of high precision parts, mainly Stainless-Steel with some small amounts of Nylon and PTFE.Ideally you will be apprentice trained, be able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment, understand tolerances and do your own self checking.Full job description on application.Benefits includes:
