Job Description

ReceptionistWe are One Housing and we create places for people to call home and support them to live well. With a breadth of services and expertise to help people whatever their housing, care, or support needs.Join ourBaycroft team as a Receptionist at Great Baddow.Baycroft is a beautifully designed 64-bed care home with a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Focusing on their residents happiness, the staff are extremely caring and skilled to ensure the best possible care is provided. It offers excellent services including aCinema room and Salon.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Receptionist at 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts including alternate weekends). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and re-directing incoming telephone calls, taking messages etc as required.
  • Welcoming and receiving all visitors to the building, ensuring that the appropriate register is correctly completed and the relevant resident and/or staff member notified and organise refreshments as appropriate.
  • Supporting the administrator in the typing of routine correspondence as required in connection with the administration of the Home when requested
  • Supporting the General Manager/ Administrator or other Heads of Department with photocopying when requested
  • Ensuring adequate stocks of forms, and stationery are available in the receptions area .
  • Distributing all incoming mail, faxes and e-mail etc. in a timely fashion. Organise the prompt distribution of delivered newspapers to the residents
  • Guiding visitors through the covid requirements, such as ensuring face masks are worn, LFT tests taken & checking temperature of the visitors.
