You will create new products and assays for next generation sequencing platforms and help develop DNA sequencing platformsbyoptimizing the biophysical and biochemical assays.Responsibilities: Develop new products Identify, evaluate, plan, prioritize, and optimise research ideas leading to new assays and chemistries for next generation sequencing platforms Plan and execute experimental designs Develop and optimize analytical methods to characterize new and existing reagents, enzymes, and processes Optimize reagents and processes Identify new opportunities for innovative productsThe ideal candidate will have: APhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Biology or a related field Sound understanding of the latest genomics technologies, methodologies, and practices Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret, draw conclusions, and drive decisions from complex data sets A detail oriented approach with excellent experimental skills and laboratory practices Good troubleshooting skills and strong ability to lead investigation and resolution of technical problems, and identify risksFor more information and to apply please email or call .Scantec Personnel Limited is acting as an employment business and an employment agency.
