Job Description

Enforcement Officer / Grantham / £24,000 / Hybrid / Permanent / Part timeMacildowie are excited to be working with a company based in Grantham who are currently recruiting an Enforcement Officer to support the team with the billings, collection and tax recovery in an effective and accurate manner. This is a part time, permanent role, working 31 hours a week and they are offering hybrid work, working 1 day in the office and the remaining from home.This is a great opportunity for someone with a finance or credit control background, or experience working with the public, with great communication skills and accuracy. They are offering a salary of £24,000 full time equivalent, a great benefits package, and flexi workingResponsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and internal team
  • Make sure debts are enforced
  • Providing advice and information to customers on tax and business rates
  • Work closely and build relationships with the team and customers to ensure a high quality service
  • Maximise and ensure all recovery of debs and rates are carried out effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure information is up to date and notify colleagues of any changes in accounts
  • To identify accounts for write off and submit to make sure
  • Ensure all accounts are reconciled
  • Ensure revenue and performance is maximised
About you:
  • Great experience working in a similar role
  • Dealing with the public, B2C
  • Finance background is a plus
  • Understanding of tax and rates
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, external organisations and the public
