Maintenance Engineer - Permanent - Grantham - £40,000 to £45,000 - Plus bonus and benefitsMelbreck Technical are working with a leading engineering specialist whose products are used in multiple industries, including automotive, rail and aerospace.They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their busy team on a permanent basis ASAP.The purpose of this position is to lead the maintenance capabilities, support the business and facility, whilst ensuring an excellent H & S culture.Maintenance Engineer - Role Overview:Manage the maintenance function.Implement a sustainable maintenance management system.Maintain & drive compliance with relevant Environmental health and safety legislation.Develop safe maintenance procedures.Lead the Maintenance Team and develop team competency.Approve contractor RAMS and supervision of contractors.Plan and undertake schedule maintenance and respond to unplanned repairs.Manage stocks of supplies and equipment, purchasing specialty components and fixtures.Produce business reports as needed.Maintain records and factual evidence of equipment performance.Manage maintenance costs and budget.Maintenance Engineer - Candidate Requirements:Demonstratable experience in Maintenance and Facility operationsThorough understanding of legal compliance, risk management, PUWER, LOLER, pressure systems, legionella etc.Strong electrical and mechanical background with preferred experience of hydraulic equipment and pressure systems.Experience of team development and talent management.Strong EHS knowledge.Project management experience.Technical knowledge of hydraulic equipment and Hydraulic test rigs and or electrical backgroundMaintenance Engineer - Hours and Benefits:37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, with Friday being a ½ day25 days annual Holiday plus bank holidaysExcellent bonus schemeUp to 15% pensionSalary sacrifice benefits for healthcare, dental, gym memberships etc.This is an amazing business to work for, and one that has a great culture, so if you are looking for your next opportunity, then click APPLY NOW!
