Job Description

The Accounts Semi Senior will be a vital part of our Accounting & Finance team, leading the way in professional services. This role offers the opportunity to be a team leader, bringing your expertise to a thriving firm in Grantham.Client DetailsThe organisation is a large-scale provider of professional services known for its commitment to quality and strong customer focus. With a robust team in Grantham, they believe in providing a supportive environment for their employees.Description

  • To assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for a various range of clients.
  • To assist with preparation of year end financial statements/accounts for a range of unincorporated businesses
  • Using a variety of accounting software IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks, SAGE etc
  • To report on a timely and accurate manner to client queries
  • Completion of corporate, personal and partnership tax returns
  • Management accounts (experience would be advantageous)
  • VAT return preparation and ad hoc bookkeeping
Profile
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, 2years +.
  • Previous experience in a client facing role, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Experience in business development within the professional services sector.
  • Previous experience using cloud accounting software, Quickbooks and Xero (if possible).
  • Strong IT, numeracy, and literacy skills.
