Job Description

Senior Recovery Support Worker Location:Gorefield, WisbechHours:Day shifts, shift pattern, 42 hours per weekSalary Details:£12.08 per hourThe Willows are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Recovery Support Worker to join their multidisciplinary team and make a real difference to the people they support.The Willows is a specialist mental health hospital, registered with the Care Quality Commission as an independent hospital able to support individuals detained under The Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007), subject to a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding(DoLS) or informally.As SRSW you will be required to lead members of the Recovery Support Worker team under the direction of the Hospital Manager and Nursing Team. Providing provision of care; ensuring residents retain as much of their dignity and individuality as possible aswell as being involved in the general activities of the Hospital.Rewards & Benefits:

Essential skills:
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in managing and resolving crisis within the workplace
  • Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our residents and wider team
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team
  • Experience within a rehabilitation setting
  • Understanding of safeguarding and reporting procedures
